Hello to all !!! I know it's been a long time since my last project! exactly a year! I am absolutely excited and honored to be designing for Swirlydoos this month and hope you all love what I have made ! I am so grateful for the opportunity!!! .
Thank you so very much for being so sweet to me and leaving messages wishing me and my family good well, you are so very special to me even when I am not here I always remember you and appreciate you all.
We are all well, Hannah is 3 year old , getting big and everyday more beautiful ! she just had her first ballet performance! She was so cute! I posted a photo of her of that day =)
and Gian Franco my 17 year old son is growing as a beautiful young man he will be graduating from High School early next year so we are very excited and proud of him!

Jingle Bells

I did this page using the main kit,I made the butterflies using one of the papers and a lot of inking!! I took this photo of Hannah the past summer I just left the original title because it really matched with her expression, she actually was listening someone working with a driller machine , so Jingle Bells was just perfect!

I made these little birds with one of the papers as well as the butterflies , you can find some similar Birds in my Etsy Store

To make the border of the photo and frame I used Distress crackle paint -tattered rose- once it was dry I used chalk to darker

God Will Give you Roses

This page was also made with the main kit, lot of inking here , I left it very simple , I took this pic of Hannah last spring while she was smelling the beautiful roses we have every year at our front porch , I found a beautiful poem that talks about Roses so the title for this is "God Will give you Roses"

Christmas Cards

I made these two cards using the December main kit! their papers and embellishments are absolutely beautiful!
I made the little bird and the left card using one of the Swirlydoos papers and also I used the paper to make the spray.
On the right card I did inking and stitching , they both are very simple but I really love how it turned out! Love Vintage Christmas!

This is Hannah last week at her First Ballet Performance!! I think she looks like a real snow princess!

I love the Frame!!! it comes in a white color , so it is easy to paint the piece as you desire .
I used chalks, it is pretty easy to work with chalks on Polymer clay pieces, you can wipe it off the excess with a old toothbrush , that is what I did with the frame and with the three roses in a row.

I made the butterflies out of polymer clay and two layer of paper. They are in my ETSY

On this page I applied a few techniques , included, inking, stamping, embossing and distressing, this was a really fast page, I really love my embellishments !! they help to make my pages easy and look beautiful!

I stamped and embossed a vine behind my handmade floral vine, this vine can be found in my Etsy Shop as well as the beautiful handmade butterflies and corners.
Aqui estampe y realce en relive una enredadera detras de la enredadera de flores , esta misma enredadera la podran encontrar en mi tienda al igual que las mariposas y los esquineros.

The Heart Border Applique comes in white color so it can be painted as you desire to accomplish any project, I painted in bronze color and I finished it with a gold patina, the Butterflies comes as you see in this picture

I love the color combo !! I have altered the Corners too, with bronze color and a gold patina

The Vintage Shabby Chic Frame comes in a soft white color so it can be painted as you desire , I painted also in bronze color and gold to emphasize the beautiful details that this gorgeous Frame has.

I Saw God Today Reveal Day!

Hello Everyone!!! I am back!! it has been exactly two months since my last post and believe me that you have been in my thoughts all this time and I will prove it!!!! As I have told to many of you in a recent visit to your blog, I have been working very hard but I kept secret what exactly I was working on! well, this is a very special day for me because this is the * Reveal Day*!!!but I will start showing this page of my beautiful kids Franco of 16 and Hannah of 2.
Hola !!! estoy nuevamente!! han pasado exactamente dos meses desde mi ultimo post y creanme que ustedes han estado en mis pensamientos todo este tiempo y lo puedo probar! Como le he diche a muchos de ustedes en una reciente visita a sus blog , he estado trabajando muchisimo pero mantuve en secreto en que habia estado trabajando! ok, este es el dia que lo puedo decir!! Primero comenzare por mostrarles esta pagina que hice de mis dos hijos Franco de 16 y Hannah de dos anitos.

I love to create my owns backgrounds and I did it once again, I did all this on a white cardstock using many different techniques , include distressing,inking, stamping and paste modeling.
Me encanta crear mis propios backgrounds y lo hice otra vez! hice todo esto sobre una base de papel blanco, utilize varias tecnicas , incluido, modelado de pasta, envejecimiento artistico, estampado , tintura, etc.

Lets talk about the embellishment on this page! All is Handmade of course for me!!! I discovered Polymer Clay around two months ago and I fell in love with the versatility of this amazing product and I decided to design and create my own embellishments but I also thought that would be very selfish of me if I didn't share what I have created during all this time, so I opened a Etsy Shop Where you can find beautiful and unique stuff handmade for me!! This Frame and corners are mine!!

Hello !!!! Happy Monday !!Finally I am able to post this page!! I have been doing some changes in my blog! I needed something different I really love how it looks now! the pic you see in my header are of my son Gian Franco who is 16 and Hannah who is 2 ,I adore this photo of them, it means so much to me! it is like a dream come true, love when they get to play together and take those sweet walks holding each other hands, isn't sweet?!

Well , let's talk about the page and the video tutorial that I have prepared for all of you!!
I made this page on a white base cardstock that comes with a invisible design that pops up when you paint it or distress it, I love it!! The only thing is that I made the mistake on the stamp and attached the pic on the wrong side! if you notice the right side should be the top of the page. I only noticed when I was taking the picture!! lol well it looks cute to me anyway!

Hola !! Feliz Lunes! Finalmente puedo hacer este post! Hice algunos cambios en mi blog! necesitaba algo diferente , realmente me encanta como se ve! la foto en el encabezado del blog es de mi hijo Gian Franco que tien 16 y Hannah de 2 anos, Adoro esta foto de ellos , signigica tanto para mi! es como un sueno hecho realidad me encanta verlos jugando y caminando juntos tomados de la mano!! no son una dulzura?!!Vamos a hablar de la pagina y el video tutorial que he preparado para todos ustedes, Hice este lo sobre la base de un cardstock de color blanco que viene con un diseno invisible!! este solo aparece cuando se pinta o distresa, me encanta!!! el problema es que cometi el error de estampar y adherir la foto sobre el lado equivocado!!si ponen atencion el lado derecho de la pagina deberia ser el lado superior! solo me di cuenta de lo que habia hecho cuando le estaba tomando la foto!! hahaha bueno , al menos para mi se ve lindo igualmente!!

If you are interested on the paper I used it is from Heidi Swapp (invisible) it looks like a regular white cardstock, I found it at Michaels

Si estan interesados en el papel, este es de heidi Swapp ( invisible)y lo consiguen en Michaels.

I stamped and embossed these little vines, and the brick wall , the stucco effect was made with Snow -Tex you can find this product at Michaels. I printed the title on a white cardstock and drew the banner , painted it , cut out and added it with 3D dots.
These Gorgeous butterflies are from Kay etsy shop, she has so amazing vines, flowers, and butterflies!! take a look in her etsy!! you will love it!!

Estampe y embose las enredaderas pequenas y la pared, el efecto de stucco lo logre con Snow -Tex este producto lo encuentran en Michaels. Imprimi el titulo sobre un cardstock blanco y le dibuje el banderin , lo pinte , corte y adheri con pegamento tridimensional .

Esas Hermosas mariposas las encontraran en Kay etsy shop, ella tiene hermosas enredaderas, flores y mariposas!! visite su etsy, les va a encantar!!

I did the big Lilies all the little vines and leaves were cut out from an old paper I have in my stash and altered them with differents techniques .
Hice las Lilies grandes, todas las enredaderas y hojas las corte de un papel viejo que tenia, las corte y altere usando diferentes tecnicas .

Hello everyone!! I am so sorry for not visiting you much lately, summer keeps me busy, but I will catch up on your work as soon as possible, Hannah loves to spend time in the backyard so we have a picnic party everyday and some other activities together all fun!!
I did this lo from a white cardstock.
I took this photo of Hannah 2 weeks ago while we were walking in the park near home.

Hola a todos!! siento mucho por no estar visitandolos mucho ultimamente, el verano me mantiene ocupada pero los voy a visitar tan pronto como pueda, a Hannah le encanta pasar tiempo en el parque de casa asi que hacemos picnic todos los dias y hacemos muchas otras actividades juntas todas muy divertidas!!
Use una papel blanco como base para crear esta pagina.
Esta foto la tome hace dos semanas mientras caminabamos en el parque .

En esta pagina hice inking, masking con stencil, stampado y costura

In this photo you can see the branch stamping, the stamp is really small when I ordered on ebay I didn't check on the size of the stamp so when I received the mail I was so disappointed for the size! it is 2 by 2.5 inches !! really small , I had to stamp over and over to get this look but I am sastisfaced with the result.
En esta foto se puede apreciar en estampado de las ramas, la estampa es muy pequena, no supe del tamano de la misma hasta que la recibi, mide aproximadamente 5 x 5.5 centimetros, para lograr que luzca asi tuve que estampar varias veces pero me gusta el resultado!

Hello !! Here I am again!! Finally Hannah started to sleep through the night!!!! yes!!! so that gave me the space to work in night while she is sleeping like an angel!! But I am not a crazy scrapper I take long time to make my pages because I like to make many cut work and many other techniques that takes me forever to make!!

Once again I did my own backgroud , I just used 2 cardstock, one black and one white , all the background was stamped and all the flowers and branch were cut out from a Anna Griffin paper.

Hola !! aca estoy nuevamente ! finalmente Hannah comenzo a dormir toda la noche!! eso me da el espacio para trabajar en la noche mientras ella duerme como un angelito!! Pero no soy un loco scrapper, tomo mucho tiempo para hacer mis paginas porque me encanta recortar mucho y aplicar differentes tecnicas que llevan dedicacion.

Una vez mas hice mi propio estampado sobre ambos papeles, solo use dos papeles, uno blanco y otro negro, todo fue estampado y las flores recortadas de un papel de la linea de Anna Griffin.

On the White cardstock I stamped the swirls and distressed with blue distress ink

En el papel blanco estampe y pinte con color azul

On the black cardstock I stamped the words also stamped and heat embossed all the branches and the frame .
En el papel negro estampe las letras de fondo y todas las ramas y y enmarcado de la foto fue stampado y embosado con calor.

Hope you like this page and try to make your own backgrounds!! I know that it is much easier to work on patterned papers but also you can explore your creativity by making your own!!

Hello !!! Here I am with another layout of Hannah when she was 13 months old and not walking by her own yet, she started a little later but she was strong enough to grab everything everywhere!!
Hannah always had curiosity for the moon ,when she was more little she could observe the moon for a while, now that she is able to express herself she asks me all the time if she can catch the moon!! every night before bed we go outside to say good night to the moon!

Hola!! aca estoy nuevamente con otro lo de Hannah cuando tenia 13 meses y no caminada por si sola, comenzo a caminar mas tarde pero era suficientemente fuerte para sujetarse de todo por todos lados!!
Hannah siempre mostro curiosidad por la luna, cuando era mas chiquita observaba la luna por un rato, ahora que ya se comunica siempre pregunta si podemos atrapar la luna!cada noche antes de ir a dormir salimos a decirle buenas noches a la luna!!

I used on this opportunity WP papers .To create a nightly scenery I inked the background I drew the moon and stars , painted them with acrylic paint, I also drew the sign and the bracket , then I distressed and cut them out and added them with 3D dots, and I did my own vine from a napkin!! YES, A NAPKIN!!! I want to share with you the tutorial I have prepared so you will be able to learn how to make your own vine !! it is very easy I hope you like it and try it too!!

En esta oportunidad use papel de WP .Para crear un escenario nocturno , teni el fondo, dibuje la luna y las estrellas y las pinte con pintura acrilica, dibuje , teni y corte el cartel y los adheri con pegamento de dimension e hice mi propia enredadera con una servilleta!!!! SI, UNA SERVILLETA!!!! Deseo compartir con ustedes el tutorial que he preparado asi aprenderan como hacer sus propia enredadera!! es muy facil , espero que les guste e intenten hacerla tambien!!

All right, I will show you a step by step tutorial on making these Vines from a Napkin!!!!!

All we need is:

A Napkin

Glimmer mist or Acrylic paint

A few drops of Water

Muy bien , ahora les mostrare paso a paso como hacer esta Enredadera hecha con una Servilleta!!!

Todo lo que necesitan es:Una Servilleta, Glimmer mist o pintura Acrilica, y unas gotitas de agua.

The first step is to extend the napkin on the table and cut just 1/4 of it to make the vine, but we will need the other 3/4 piece to make the leaves,we can use a scissor or the hand to cut .
El primer paso es extender la servilleta sobre una mesa y cortar 1/14 de ella para hacer la enredadera, pero necesitaremos el sobrante para hacer las hojas, pueden usasr una tijera o las manos para cortar

We will fold the napkin in two pieces to the center as shows on the photo
Doblaremos la servilleta en dos hacia el centro como muestra la foto.

We will fold it again this time in just a half
La doblaremos nuevamente solo una vez

To make the vine we need to start twisting both borders in a opposite direction as we do to wrap a candy, we will leave this undone to start making the leaves.
Para hacer la enredadera debemos comenzar por girar ambos extremos de la tira de servilleta hacia lados opuestos tal cual hacemos para envolver un caramelo (o golosina)
dejaremos este paso por un momento para comenzar por cortar las hojas.

We will fold the extra napkin into two parts and start cutting leaf shapes from the bottom of the napkin, as shown in the picture, we will need to create a stem ,for that reason the shape should be about 1 1/2 inch
Doblaremos la servilleta sobrante en dos y cortaremos la forma de la hoja desde el fondo del papel, como muestra la foto, necesitamos hacer el tallo de la hoja por esa razon deberan cortar la forma de aproximadamente 4 centimetros de alto

We will turn the bottom to create the stem
Giraremos la parte inferior para hacer el tallo

Now we start wrapping the napkin and adding the leaves and twisting so the stem will stay inside, if it comes out, unwrap the napkin and redo it , if it doesn't work and come out again, try to cut another leaf and make the stem longer.
Ahora comenzamos envolviendo la servilleta y adheriendo las hojas por su tallo girando de manera que el tallo quede adentro envuelta, si la hoja se sale, desenvuelva el papel e intentelo nuevamente, si esta vuelve a salirse a lo mejor debera cortar una hoja mas larga y hacer un tallo mas largo.

Don be afraid to break the vine , do it carefuly but tight.
No tema de romper la enredadera, hazlo cuidadosamente pero apretado

Asi es como quedara por el momento

Now you can work in your kitchen sink or make a tray with aluminun foil as I did.

Para este paso pueden trabajar en la pileta de su cocina o hacer una especie de bandeja con papel de aluminio como lo hice yo

I damped the tray with water and sprayed the Glimmer mist ( I used Key Lime Pie), you don't need much just two times is more than enough, I also used a little of Eucalyptus Walnut ink to make the vine more dark and rustic.

Rocie la bandeja con unas gotas de agua y rocie con el Glimmer mist ( pueden usar pintura acrilica diluida con agua), yo use glimmer mist verde lima y eucalyptus walnut para oscurecerlo y hacer una aparencia mas rustica.

We will damp carefully all the vine into the color, it will get fragile but we need to runoff the color and ensure the vine and leaves by twisting the vine from the top to the end.

Sumerja la enredadera en la pintura, esta se hara fragil, arrugada y lucira deteriorada pero asi debemos seguir girando el papel para escurrir la pintura y sujetarla mucho mas.

Carefully place the vine in a tray or table and fix all the leaves. It must look all ruffled and wet , let the vine to dry, you will see that when its dries, the look will be different and pretty!!

Con cuidado extienda la enredadera sobre una superficie y comience a darle forma a las hojas que hasta el momento luce arrugada y mojada. Deje que seque veras que una vez que esta se seca lcira bonita y fuerte!!

Hello everyone!! It sounds strange that I am posting again uh! well, many of my family members and friends will be celebrating birthdays and others ocations like Mother's Day coming up in October in Argentina, so I wanted to start making cards to send them and it will be a good opportunity to practicing .
I have made these two cards with alcohol ink, very simple on ATC, the only that you need is acrylic, alcohol ink , a ribbon, a stamp for the borders and a image that you like!
These images I cut it out from a paper I found in my stash, I wanted to create something very simple with no flowers nor buterfly nor birds, I think these images are pretty enough and don't need anything else.

Hola a todos!! suena extrano que este haciendo un post otra vez, no?! Bueno, muchos de mis familiares y amigos estaran celebrando cumpleanos y otras ocaciones como Dia de las Madres que se celebra en Octubre en Argentina, entonces quise comenzar haciendo tarjetas para ir practicando.
Estas tarjetas las con alcohol ink ( tintas al alcohol) muy simple en papel tranparente, lo unico que necesitan para hacer esta tarjeta es el acrilico, alcohol ink, una cinta, una stampa para los bordes y una imagen que les guste.
Esta imagen la corte de un papel que encontre entre mis cosas, quise hacer algo simple, sin flores, ni mariposas, ni pajaros, creo que esas imagenes son suficientemente lindas y no necesitan nada mas.
Espero que les guste y que intenten hacerlas!!

On this card I used the alcohool ink at a different way no by dumping, I tried to paint with it , this technique takes a little more longer that the technique above, but if I did it you can do it too! remember that if something goes wrong you can use the Alcohol blending solution to remove, blend, lighten and rework!

En esta tarjeta use el alcohol ink de diferente manera, ya no dando golpecitos como en la imagen de arriba , intente pintar , esta tecnica lleva mas tiempo que la otra tecnica, pero si yo lo pude hacer ustedes lo pueden hacer tambien!! recuerden que si algo sale mal pueden usar Alcohol blending solucion para remover, mezclar colores , hacerlos mas claros o rehacer todo el trabajo!!

Hello my blogger friends !!! as you have noticed already I am a very slow scrapper, that is the reason why you don't see me posting very often but at least I can make one project a month and share it with you.

Hola mis amigos bloggers !!! como ya se han dado cuenta soy una muy lenta scrapper , esa es la razon por la que no me ven posting muy a menudo, al menos puedo hace un proyecto al mes y compartirlo con ustedes.

I took this pic of Hannah a few days ago while we were playing tea party, she loves to wear hats!! she is so girly and cute!! even if she is still in her pyjamas , she has to wear hats!! lol, love her expression on this pic . I wanted to create something to reflect her sweet and femenine personality .

Esa foto de Hannah la tome hace algunos dias mientras jugabamos a reunion de te , a ella le encanta usar sombreros!! es tan linda y femenina!! no importa si ella esta todavia con su pijamas puesto, ella tiene que vestir sombrero!! me encanta su expresion en esta foto.Quise crear algo que refleje su dulce y femenina personalidad.

I found a paper printed with these beautiful roses and once again I did alot of cutting work!! ,I stamped the background with a wall brick stamp, also I stamped some branches on the left side , I did stitching with baby blue and pink color and use tulle to frame the pic and to make the bow, the title and quote are rub ons.

Encontre unos papeles que tenian impresos esas hermosas rosas y una vez mas hice mucho recorte!!, estampe el fondo imitando un muro, tambien estampe algunas plantas sobre el lado izquierdo de la pagina, hice costura en celeste y rosa, use tull para enmarcar la foto .El titulo y el pensamiento son textos de transferencia.

Hello Everyone!!! Hope everyone of you are having a wonderful weekend and getting ready to start another week!!
Here I am with another lo of my little Hannah when she was 5 months old, doesn't she look sweet? OMG she was a super adorable baby the only problem with her was that till now her sleeping pattern is a mess!! I never know how many times she is going to wake up in night, now that she is 2 years old she is starting to sleep better but still she needs a hug or two sometimes three hugs from mommy but she is the sweetest little girl ever!!!!!!!!!!! I know every mommy says it, our kids are unique and incomparable!!.

Hola a todos!!!Espero que todos esten teniendo un maravilloso fin de semana y esten listos para comenzar una semana mas.
Aqui estoy con una pagina mas de Hannah cuando ella tenia 5 meses, no es una dulzura?Siempre fue un bebe super adorable , el unico problema con ella hasta ahora es que sus habitos de sueno son muy desordenados!! nunca se cuantas veces se ira a despertar en la noche, ahora que ya tiene 2 anos esta comenzando a dormir mejor pero todavia ella necesita uno , dos y hasta tres abrazos de su mami, pero es la nena mas dulce del mundo!! se que todas las mamis lo dicen , nuestros hijos son unicos e incomparables!!.

On this lo I used most of Websters pages products ,it was a gift from my sweet friend Tracy she was so kind on sending me alot of WP goodies!! you can find all these beautiful WP products in her online store http://www.staytruetogod.com/ ,Thank you so much dear Tracy!! I love the WP Vellums and diecuts!!!! I used the vellum to decorate the corners , I used a diecut for the background from making memories , I distressed it and I did a masking, I used alot of lace to make the borders, the birds are stickers , the butterflies are rub ons, and I used those beautiful flowers that Darien sent me a long time ago, thank you so much Darien!!! I am so glad that I was able to use your beautiful flowers , Thanks!!

En esta pagina use productos de Websters pages, esto fue un regalo de mi amiga Tracy , ella fue tan amable de enviarme un monton de productos WP !! Me encantan las transparencias !! las use para decorar los extremos de la pagina, use un molde de making memories como pagina principal, la cual pinte con distress ink, use mucha puntilla para hacer todos los bordes, los pajaros son stickers y las mariposas son rub ons ( figuras que se raspan y se transfieren al papel) y use esas hermosas flores que hace un tiempo me habia enviado Darien, !!! estoy contenta de haber usado esas hermosas flores, gracias!!

Here is a close up to show you how I did the title, I stamped the ribbon label, I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder , I painted it a little with chalk. I cut it out and added it with dimensional dots and decorated it with a small butterfly.
Aqui tenemos un acercamiento para mostrarles como hice el titulo, estampe la cinta, la emboce al calor con polvo de embosar transparente, pinte el interior con tiza , lo corte y lo adheri con pegamento dimensional y lo decore con una mariposa.

Scrap that kit

Hello everyone!!! it has been a while since my last post , I did all these new projects with Scrap That! May Kit! And you will see that I included a easy step tutorial. Hope you enjoy it!!

Hola a todos!!! a pasado un tiempo desde mi ultimo post, Hice todos estos nuevos proyectos con Scrap That! May Kit! Tambien incluyo un tutorial,espero que lo disfruten!!
Llame a este lo " Preciosa"

On this page I stamped and heat embossed all the edges and also I distressed it with chalks, I altered the pic with crackle paint and distress ink. The title was stamped and heat embossed.

En esta pagina estampe y embose todos los bordes tambien lo envejeci con chalks (tizas), altere la foto con pintura craquelada y la emvejeci con distress ink , el titulo fue estampado y embosado con calor.

These butterflies comes in the kit I just did a masking.

Las mariposas vienen en el Kit yo le hice una sombra con distress ink .

I stamped several times all the branches to get a more dramatic effect.

Estampe varias veces las ramas para darle un efecto mas dramatico.

I used the flowers that comes in the kit, I altered it with chalk and distressed the leafs.

Use las flores que vienen con el Kit , las altere con chalk y envejeci las hojas.

PRINCESS

This is Hannah when she was 13 months old. I call this page " PRINCESS"

Esta es Hannah cuando tenia 13 meses. Esta pagina la llamo " PRINCESA"

I did alot of stamping here, I did all the background by stamping the text, borders , the bird, swirls, everything you see has been stamped!!! and also I did alot of masking. I painted the letters with crackle paint and distressed them.

Aqui hice mucho estampado, hice todo el fondo estampando la escritura, los bordes, los pajaros, flores, todo fue estampado!!! tambien hice mucha mascara. Pinte las letras con pintura craquelada y las envejeci.

I masked the crown and the circle, and also I did some stitching around the circle.

Hice la mascara de la corona y tambien del circulo al cual le hice costura.

I drew the leafs and and stamped letters on it and altered them with distress ink .
I also drew the rhombus on acrylic and stamped with solvent ink.
Dibuje las hojas, estampe letras y las envejeci con distress ink.Tambien dibuje los rombos sobre acrilico y estampe con ink al solvente.

I did this flower using one of the papers that comes in the kit, I will show you how to make your own flower, I will call this flower DRY ROSE in the end of this post you will find the tutorial I did to share with all of you.

Espanol: Hice esta flor usando uno de los papeles que viene el en kit, les mostrare como pueden hacerla ustedes mismas, la llamare Rosa Seca al final de este post encontraran el tutorial que hice para compartir con todas ustedes.

Altered Box

Caja decorada

I got the box at Michaels for 1.29 dollars. I distressed a little the paper. I distressed and aplied the lace that comes with the kit , added pearls all around the box and I did the flower with a piece of lace and aplied a botton on the center.

La caja la encontre en Michaels, por 1.29 dolares, envejeci el papel , tambien envejeci la puntilla que viene con el Kit, le adheri perlitas alrededor de la caja, hice la flor con una pieza pequena de la puntilla y le aplique un boton en el centro.

This is the top of the box. I stamped the image on a cardstock, distressed it, and I used just a little of perfect pearl. I stamped and heat embossed all the border with gold embossing powder.

Este es la parte superior de la caja, estampe la imagen sobre un papel, lo envejeci, le di brillo con perfect pearl , estampe y enbose con calor todo el borde con polvo de embosar dorado.

Dry Rose Tutorial

Tutorial de la Flor Seca

To make this flower we need to draw 5 circles of differents sizes, on the opposite side of the paper that you have chose.

Para hacer esta flor necesitamos dibujar 5 circulos de diferentes tamanos en el lado opuesto del papel que haya escogido.

We will cut around the circle by hand and make 4 cuts to the center of the circle without cutting the center of the circle.

Cortaremos alrededor del circulo con la mano y haremos cortes hacia el centro del circulo sin cortar el centro.

Once we have the shape, we will cut just a little off all the corners.

una vez que tenemos la forma le cortaremos un pedacito de los extremos

This is the shape we need to get.
Esta es la forma que necesitamos conseguir.

Now we will turn the paper and curl all the edges of the petals. I did it with my fingers but you can also do it with a toothpick.

Ahora giramos el papel y comenzamos a doblar todos los extremos, yo use mis dedos pero tambien pueden hacerlo con la ayuda de un palillo.

We can ink the edges, I used chalk but we can use any kind of ink

Podemos tenir los bordes, yo use chalk ( tizas) pero se puede usar cualquier clase de tintura.

Once we have all the shapes ready, we will position them all together starting with the big circle on the botton and the smaller on the top.

una vez que tenemos todas las formas listas los pondremos todos juntos comenzando con el circulo mas grande abajo y el mas pequeno arriba.

We will take all the petals one at a time in our palm and with a rounded object ( I used a compass) we will push against it and squeeze the petals a little, don't worry of squeezing the paper, remember we are trying to get a dry look. When we are done working with each petal at once we will take all the petals and repeat this step, like how it's presented in the picture.

Tomaremos uno por uno cada petalo sobre la palma de la mano y con un objeto de punta redonda ( yo use el extremo de un compas) empujaremos hacia la palma y al mismo tiempo apretamos el papel, no tengan temor de arrugar mucho el papel recuerden que intentamos dar un aspecto de flor seca. Cuando terminamos de trabajar con cada uno de los petalos, tomaremos todos los petalos juntos y repetimos este ultimo paso como muestra la foto.

Now we need to make a hole through the petals and we will assure them with a brad or apply other center embellishment on the top.

Ahora perforaremos todos los petalos y los aseguraremos con un brad y o aplicar otro centro para embellecer la flor.

Hold on to your Dreams

Hello to all my blogger friend!! I have been a little emotional later, thinking of my daughter's 2nd birthday coming up on april 13!!, she went through so many difficult times when she was born so tiny and fragile and now two years later I can see all those scaring moments as a flashback in my mind.It makes me so happy to see her playing, jumping, singing and running up and down all over the house!!

Espanol: Hola mis amigos bloggers!! ultimamente he estado bastante emosional debido a la proximidad del cumpleanos de mi hija que sera el proximo 13 de abril!! Ella paso por tantos momentos dificiles al momento de nacer , tan chiquita y fragil y ahora 2 anos mas tarde puedo ver aquellos aterradores momentos como un flash en mi mente.Me hace tan feliz verla ahora jugando, saltando , cantando y corriendo para arriba y para abajo por toda la casa!!

In this pic she was 17 months old, I wanted to use these websters pages paper for this photo, I think that this cute expression deserve some cute and happy papers like these!!

En esta foto tenia 17 meses, quise usar los papeles de websters pages para esta foto, pense que esta linda expresion merecia unos papeles lindos y alegres como estos!!

I did alot of cutting work on this page, all were added with foam adhesive for dimension.
To make the background I used a white cardstock , I spred a layer of Gesso and let it dry then I applied another layer of Gesso like if I were decorating a cake, I wanted to create a windy feel background. The border of the pic was altered with crackle pait -picket fence- then inked.

En este caso hice mucho trabajo de corte manual y luego los adheri con adhesivo dimensional ( no recuerdo el nombre en espanol, por favor disculpenme , se que es como una espuma con doble adhesivo)
Para hacer el fondo , utilice un papel blanco, le di una aplicacion de pasta de sellar, la misma que se usa para cubrir defectos de la madera, en ingles se llama Gesso, lo deje secar y aplique otra en forma despareja intentando crear efecto de viento.

Ones the Gesso was dry I misted it and I did the masking.
Note: If you are going to use Gesso and then masking with glimmer mist you need to know that the Gesso works like a film and the mist will get under the masking, so you should use a gause or a towel paper to mask.

Una vez que el Gesso se seco hice el masking ( la pintura con molde) con glimmer mist.
Nota: si van a usar Gesso y despues el masking con glimmer mist deben de saber que el Gesso actua como una pelicula impermeable por lo tanto el glimmer mist se va a resbalar hacia abajo del molde, por eso recomiendo usar una gaza o un papel de cocina para pintarlo.

I added a Prima flower to give some dimension , I applied a coordinate lace and two differents kind of punch, also I stamped the title.To distress all the borders I used chalks.

Adheri una flor de prima para dar dimension a la ya estampada en el papel, le aplique una cinta y dos mas que hice con punchs, el titulo lo stampe y los bordes los pinte con chalks o tizas.

OK, now these are the things that make me happy

1.God's love for me.

2. The friends that I have made through blogging.

3. When Franco my 16 year old boy tells me that he loves me.

4. When Hannah my 23 month old girl tells me "love you mommy"... aaawwww .

5. My favorite drink "mate" every morning ( it's an original drink from my country).

6. To see Hannah smiling, dancing and singing YO Gabba Gabba songs!! lol.

7. To see Franco growing as a wonderful and caring person.

8. The voice of my parents on the phone calling me from Argentina.

9. When I see that someone that I am following becomes my follower!!

10. To find people unselfish, without envy, jealousy, peaple willing to give, to love and be loved, not greedy, people that can love others like they love themselves.

The five things about me:

1. I was born in Mar Del Plata, Argentina

2. English is my second language and I am still learning :(.

3. I have been married to my loving and supportive husband for 19 years!!! Wow!! lol

4. I miss Argentina but I love USA so much.

5. I love Jesus with all my heart , He is my guide and my Savior.

Hello everyone!! thank you so much for visiting my blog!!
I did this layout using differents techniques and I really had so much fun making this page!! I did stamping, distressing, stitching, punching and cutting work and also a mess on my desk!!! lol, hope you enjoy your visit. This is my daughter Hannah when she was 20 months old she is 23 months old now.

Butterflies

To make the butterflies I stamped them with solvent ink and cut it out. To get the stain glass effect I put a drop of differents colors of alcohol ink one beside the other and a drop of mixantive gold( you just need to use one or two drops depending of the size of the image) and did little damps all over the image, remember that you have to apply the alcohol ink on the opposite side of the stamped image, otherwise the image will disappear.The colors I used are, watermelon,citrus,purple twilight,sail boat blue, sunshine yellow,and one drop of gold mixantive.

Cross stitching and Rhombus
To make the cross stitching I did little marks with a pencil using a ruler to get good aligment and I started crossing the thread, then I distressed with black chalk to give a better effect.
To make the rhombus I stamped squares on the paper , I cut it out and positioned it like a rhombus, I put a brad on them and added it with foam adhesive to give it dimension.

I stamped the flowers on acrylic with solvent ink and painted it with differents colors of alcohol ink.

This was my first time using the beautiful websters pages. I cut out the tree from one of the papers of the same line I inked it and gave it dimension with 3D dots.

This is me at 41 last year, When I was younger I was terrified about getting old, but now that i am over 40 I realized that age is not the most important , the most important is to be able to enjoy every day with enthusiasm and dignity.

This lo is so special for me , When I was at the 34 week of pregnancy the doctor had to provoke the delivery due to complications, Hannah was born with just 4 pounds, she was a beautiful, tiny,adorable and fragile little angel.During my pregnancy I wondered and imagined her little world inside me and this is the way that I remember I imagined it.

To create this lo I used stamping, B&W copy , chalks and acrylic paint to make my own background.
